The 2100NEWS NWSET CETF token is a blockchain-based unit of value pegged and 100% backed by a basket of crypto assets on the Iconomi platform. (In the basket are components of the NWSET strategy which simultaneously track the 2100NEWS Digital Assets Ethereum Tokens Tradable Index) For every token minted, Iconomi holds digital assets. NWSET CETF tokens offer back-and-forth convertibility. Owners can send the CETF tokens to the smart contract and convert tokens directly into a strategy on Iconomi or vice-versa.
NWSET index comprises a strategic selection of cryptocurrencies and aims to cover a rigorously selected basket of tokens built on Ethereum - not necessarily the largest by market cap. The index is market-cap weighted, adjusted for trading volume and free float. The index management is practically automatic and is done passively according to predefined parameters.
